Few things make me happier than shooting a wedding. Shooting my two wonderful friends getting married is a whole new level of joy. On a warm and windy Sunday in June, these two said "I do" and it was magical.
I met Kiefer almost 10 years ago when we worked at Camp Lemieux together. I immediately admired his wisdom, humor, and charisma. He is without a doubt one of the most giving people I have ever met. He is exceptional at making people feel valued and heard. His heart is kind and gratitude is embedded into his core. A few years ago Kiefer introduced me to Angeline and I adored her from the day we met. Her bubbly spirit brings a light into this world like no one else. She is creative, brilliant, and goes out of her way to show that she cares about the people around her. These two compliment each other perfectly. They are so good at making others feel loved, and I know they will bring that same spirit into their marriage.
Their handwritten, private vows to each other was the perfect way to prepare for the ceremony. Every smile, laugh, and tear throughout their ceremony proved that these two are so proud of each other. A favorite moment of mine from the day was when the couple was announced as "Mrs. & Dr. Lypka!" Kiefer had recently graduated from medical school and I think the majority of us forgot that he was no longer a mister. Angeline's face perfectly shows the shock and joy from the announcement! It is a testament to her character and how she supports Kiefer in all that he does.
Congratulations to two phenomenal people. I am blessed beyond measure to call them my friends.
